Crimidesa Maroc
Company
The Group opened its premises in Morocco during 2004, exploiting a high quality sodium feldspar deposit in the foothills of the Atlas, near de city of Taroudant.
Deposit
Ours is one of the world’s biggest deposits of albitite. Its strategic location, near Agadir, provides an excellent distribution point to the different markets.
Logistics
Furthermore, Crimidesa Maroc has warehousing areas and the necessary infrastructure at the port of Agadir to load vessels from 3.000 to 30.000mt in a quick and flexible way, which allows a quick reaction to our customer’s needs.
Quality
Crimidesa Maroc has an excellent laboratory to control the quality of the product from its extraction to the different final treatments as to continuously improve all the production and expedition steps. This allows us to supply homogenously a wide range of specifications to satisfy our customer’s needs.
All our qualities are non-floated products, have a low titanium content and are exempt of any organic residues. The minimum humidity allows a fluid handling, no lumps and easy grinding.

Sodium Feldspar
Uses and applications
Ceramic and glass industries are the main users of sodium feldspar, but it is also used in other industries, such as paints, plastics, adhesives, sealers and soft abrasives.
